Crackling and distorted sound when enabling surround on Kracken Pro 2015
I own a Kracken Pro 2015 and have been using it successfully for the past 3 years.
About 2-3 weeks ago the sound became distorted with crackling sounds (like when your computer is not fast enough to produce the sound).
I tried uninstalling and re-installing the Razer drivers and software but there is no change.
Of course since this is the 2015 version I have to use the older legacy surround driver and Synapse 2 software.
When the surround sound is disabled the sound is fine - no distortions.
My computer specs:
Windows 10 Pro
Intel I9-9900KF
16 GB RAM
ASUS z390-PRO motherboard.
Is this a driver problem?
Has anybody else encountered something similar?
