Razer Goliathus Chroma won't work

Hi guys, I just today bought the Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma and every time I plug it into either my USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports I get the error message: “Unknown USB device needs more power than the Port can Supply” I am very confused because I have never had an issue with my Blackwidow Chroma v2 and Basilisk and there didn't seem to be any requirement for the amount of power the mouse mat requires on the box of the product. If someone could PLEASE help me that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@AverageLaugh You have a point. Have you tried testing it on another machine before we go the RMA route?
