NVIDIA Optimus / Screen flickers / goes black

Hi all. I've just bought a model RZ09-0367. Sometimes when I start a GPU intensive game (like MS flight simulator), sorry, but the PC goes nuts. You hear the Windows sound for newly attached hardware and the screen goes black or flickers like crazy. I have a feeling it has something to do with the switch from integrated graphics to dedicated GPU, but I do not understand why it only happens sometimes. I am aware that there is a support post about this: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4563/kw/RZ09-0367 and I have done these steps. All drivers are up to date. It can be dealt with by switching to "GPU only" in Nvidia Optimus. Two days ago, the issue persisted even after a forced restart and switching to "GPU only". I have attached a picture to illustrate. I think this is sad for a rather expensive laptop and I do not know what to try next. Any ideas what to try?
