Plugging in headpones won't switch device unless I restart laptop

My Razer Blade Advanced from 2019 (M#: RZ09-02887E91) or so has had this issue from Day 1 after installing Windows on a new SSD and I have been unable to resolve with razer support in the past or on my own. When I plug headphones in, the device will not switch the output to headphones, nor is there an option to do so anywhere. If I reboot the laptop, the sound comes out of the headphones, and the audio will not switch back to the speakers when I unplug them.

    I have the same problem on my Razer Blade Base (2018). I too swapped the 128 Gb SSD to a 256 Gb. Since then, my laptop is unable to change from speaker to headphone and vice-versa in an instant. I have to restart the laptop every time if I want to use the speakers again. The volume for each device doesn't change automatically either. Hope there is a solution to this problem.
