Razer Blackshark V2 X - Surround 7.1 not working

Hi, Just got the new headset and installed and activated the Surround 7.1. With 7.1 as the default sound device I get no sound on anything games, music, Youtube, etc.. All works perfectly well as a standard headset just not in surround. I have looked online for solutions but nothing seems to work. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

    Have you tried reinstalling the drivers of your headset? Have you also tried the Windows Troubleshooter? For now, let's isolate the issue first by performing a clean reinstallation with your Synapse by clicking this link. Let me know how that goes by sending me the serial number of your headset via PM.
