Razer blade 15 won't turn on if not plugged in.

Hi,

I have a Razer Blade 15 Advance 2019 and recently I noticed that it won't turn on if it is not plugged in. So I can't just run my laptop on battery. Furthermore, the battery is not charging even when it is plugged in and it is staying at 81%. Even it say it has 81% battery life, if I unplug the laptop it shuts down right away.

Is it a software issue? Is there something wrong with the battery? Is there some way to fix my laptop?

Thanks,
Jim

Battery fault.
Disassembly bottom case, check if the battery doesn't bloat.

If it is not bloated? Could it be a software issue?

  • Let's start to fix it and make a story

Hi, @clubgeoDarkCerulean202! That's odd. Let's try to recalibrate the battery. Uninstall your battery drivers by following the steps in this guide. Should the problem persists, please PM me your device's serial number to look into RMA options.
