Razer Core X + Razer Thunderbolt 4 dock

Hello friends, I recently bought an Alienware R13 which unfortunately does not have a thunderbolt port, only a USB-C port. I am trying to connect my Razer Core X (with an NVIDIA 2080 SUPER inside it) to the Alienware through Razer's Thunderbolt 4 dock. The Core X powers up and the fan starts at full speed, but the video card is not detected by the PC and I get the message "Thunderbolt device functionality may be limited". Is there a way to connect the Core X to my PC through the thunderbolt 4 dock or is this a lost cause?
