Razor Kraken Kitty Bluetooth headset keeps disconnecting from Synapse

I have a new Kitty headset that I bought 2 weeks ago. I have 2 laptops I work on and I have installed the Synapse software on both of them. My headset initially registers when I do the install and then as soon as the headset sleeps it disconnects. When I turn them back on the connection to Synapse is not restored. I have installed/ reinstalled/ repaired the software, drivers etc on both machines but aside from the initial install, the headset won't stay connected/ visible. It's extremely frustrating so any advice/ help would be really appreciated!
