Razer Basilisk V3 Pro suddenly stopped working in 2.4 GHz mode
I've been using my Basilisk V3 Pro for about two weeks now. It's run without any issues and I love the mouse. Tonight, I got home and decided to get a gaming session in. I turn on my computer and start using my mouse normally, but had to get up and use the bathroom. Shortly after I come back and my mouse suddenly would not function at all. RGB is on, but the mouse does not track, nor are any of the buttons recognized. I tried unplugging the dongle and plugging it back in, and that seemed to allow me a couple seconds of the mouse working, then it would stop working again. Now it just does not work at all no matter where I plug the dongle in (PC itself or USB hub).
I tried looking for firmware updates for this mouse but there doesn't seem to be any as of yet. I cleaned off the underside of the mouse with a q-tip and Isopropyl Alcohol. Quit and restarted the Razer synapse app. Restarted my computer. Unplugged and plugged the mouse back into the same and different ports.
Frustrating issue and it seemingly happened out of nowhere. I've heard that a lot of the recent Razer mice dongles have been defective, and I'm afraid my dongle might have just 'died' or stopped working. This issue makes me a little afraid to use Razer mice going forward, if I'm being honest. Seeing as this is a $160 mouse that seemingly stopped functioning out of nowhere.
