My RAZER Barracuda no longer turns on and doesn't seem to charge after installing firmware

AkameRazer

Good morning,

I received my RAZER Barracuda yesterday. Testing it on the bus on my phone, it worked perfectly (apart from an uncomfortable reverb effect). When I get home, Synapse asks me to download the FIRMWARE for my RAZER Barracuda. So I download the firmware, no worries and suddenly, after the end of the download, my headset tells me the following sentence "battery reset". From this moment, the headphones no longer turn on and do not seem to be charging (no light on and especially even after three hours of charging it does not change anything). I add that the headset works when you plug it in with the jack cable.

Can anyone help me ? I don't want to waste 149.99€...

Hi AkameRazer,

I’m here to help. The following are possible causes why the headset is not charging or turning on:

  • Damaged charging port
  • Faulty charging cable
  • Faulty battery

Follow the troubleshooting tips below to resolve a Razer wireless headset that is not charging:

  • Ensure the charging cable is working and plugged in properly.
  • Use a spare charging cable.
  • Ensure the charging port is not loose or damaged.
  • Check the Device Status in Razer Synapse or Razer Audio App to see if the headset is charging.

Feel free to send me a PM with your device serial number if you need additional assistance. Have a great day, and stay awesome!
