Blackwidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed double typing problem (TR)

My friend and I are experiencing a double-clicking issue with the "Razer Blackwidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed" keyboards we recently purchased. When we bought the product, it was sold at a discounted price in limited quantities in Turkey, and many others who bought the same product are facing this issue. This product, imported from the United Nations, has a chronic double-clicking problem in almost all of them. When I sent the product to the authorized Razer service in Turkey, they said that the product cannot be repaired or replaced and returned it to me. I was only able to use the keyboard for about 2 weeks, and now I'm using another keyboard. I tried to reach out to Razer accounts in Turkey via social media, but I didn't receive any response. So far, all of my equipment has been Razer brand, and I'm only experiencing this issue with this keyboard, but it can't be resolved. I am in a disadvantaged position, and I am complaining. I demand that this issue be resolved.

I am experiencing the same problem. Every time that this happens I have to remove the affecting keys and spray some Isopropyl alcohol.

The only thing I would recommend is, update it to the latest firmware update https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6317 and try to spray some isopropyl alcohol, I will never buy another razer product.

The warranty on mine expired last november and it started having double typing issues shortly after.

I have the same issue. Every time I login to any of my many accounts it types the password wrong (double letters). My bank blocked my login due to numerous login attempts with wrong password. This is very annoying. So I have to unhide the password first before I submit it every time I want to login into one of my online accounts.

Updated my keyboard to the latest firmware, but no success.

My warranty is long expired but I tried to get support directly from Razor to find a solution and get my keyboard repaired. I am even ready to pay for it if it is a reasonable price, but unfortunately Razor does not offer direct support for equipment that is out of warranty. They only refer to the community support, which is limited in this case where the issue is clearly a hardware issue and requires repair.

 

Does Razor not support customers for products that are out of warranty?

 

Was anyone with the same problem able to find a community solution that would fix the double typing issue yet? If so, I would appreciate if the solution could be shared here.

I found a solution. So here’s my experience. My keyboard did the same for me. I bought a new one, and started to use my Razer keyboard on my notebook. The keyboard was actually working as it should have. So I thought maybe the razer software the drivers are the problem. So I gave my keyboard away to a family member because I didn’t need it anymore. He didn’t have any problems, and I explicitly told him not to download the razer softwares or the drivers. So he did download it… Anyway as soon as he did that, the keyboard typed twice again. 

 

So conclusion: If you already downloaded the drivers for it, it won’t work. Tried to delete it, and set the keyboard to factory reset, but nothing worked after that.

Great insights. Thank you DateFix. Unfortunately I have all Razer software and drivers installed. If it is software related Razor should issue a firmware update to address this issue. Anyway, it is what it is. So annoying.
