Razer Wolverine V3 Pro no remaps to PC Keys?

*update* I will send the controller back and get a Flydigi... in their software you can map PC keys to the buttons including other features for which Rauer will probably need years again.

I returned mine, tried it for a week, nice feel etc, but mapping for me is huge

i tried 3rd party software (reWASD) but they do no support it either. Why Razer a product can not be remapped with keyboard assignments is beyond me, I do not need two “A” buttons, why!!!

wondering the exact same thing tried using joytokey but it won’t reg the extra buttons or i’m messing up how. but yeah even in pc mode it won’t let you remap some pc mode right?? feel like that's false advertising

Been wondering the same. If I could refund this I would. It’s a great gamepad in every other area except this. Why sell it as a PC compatible product if it lacks the ability to remap the programmable buttons to a keyboard?

Overpriced, with near useless remapping functionality unless you want redundant gamepad buttons. 

SO for what Razer support is worth (REALY HOPE THEY ARE TELLING TRUTH) I just had a Razer support agent message me back after getting dic**** around by the first 2 agents telling me to “Use the App from the Windows app store to perform this function” that mapping KB Keys to the Wolverine V3 Pro IS INDEED COMING to an update in Razer Synapse!   

Now like I said I dont know how reliable supports internal docs are, or how much the R&D team speaks with them regarding product updates, but here is a screen of the chat. Cross fingers, as this message is THE ONLY reason I am not returning this otherwise amazing controller this weekend!   My advice to everyone on PC that has this controller, PUT IN SUPPORT TICKETS, Go On Twitter/Reddit/Social Media BS, and request let it be known! If Razer does indeed allow KB Key mapping to the extra 6 buttons on the V3 Pro, this will quickly become the best PC gaming controller!  And man wouldn't iut be perfect if they released in the next day or 2 for POE2!!!

Please Razer,  WE are counting on you to cater who put you where you are! Prove to us you still listen to the PC gamers out here!

Razer, please hear us. Update the Wolvie v3 Pro with this functionality and be heroes. It'd literally be THE controller to beat.

Seeing as to how old this is, I’m gonna go ahead and return it until synapse is implemented. I was hoping this would be a nice Christmas gift to myself but I think I’ll go ahead and pickup a flydigi since it is the most recommended controller on the market at the moment. What really sucks is that I asked the associate in store (yes I literally went to a Razer store to check this out) and he told me it is compatible with Synapse. Such a shame.

does razer read this? The controller is really good and feels good when playing. Problem is i feel that remapping buttons only for controller and not keyboard is a waste and once you put the jump button on the left paddle and the slide button on the right paddle for me in Fortnite, I feel theres nothing else to remapp!

If i could only Remapp with keyboard presses and have those 2 extra paddles and the 2 bumpers by the triggers etc, i could put weapon slots so i can access any slot with the simple press of a paddle or bumper.

I had no idea that the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has finally updated their xbox accessories software so you can remapp with keyboard keys.

I have an Elite 2 and was disappointed you couldnt so i bought a dual sense edge and had too use 3rd party software DS4Windows which worked fine just that the dual sense edge right paddle is a disaster and is broken and there are only 2 paddles but can program any button on the controller so thats ok.

So i bought a Scuf controller which is probably the best controller that can remapp everything but the trigger with Mechanical button switches doesnt work so i have to use the long press.

I made a mistake assuming Razer would have done it by now but they didnt. Can you please add Keyboard remapping  to controller buttons in the software. Im sure you can do a firmware update and update the software app and let us have an amazing Controller.

I am thinking about returning the controller and have a few weeks to decide. Controller feels so good and as of this moment i havent tried the Elite series 2 with the new remapping since i just saw this added feature while searching google right now.

If the Xbox Elite Series 2 does this the way i want, i might just return the controller. My fault for not looking more into the software app from razer.

Hope to hear Razer will be adding Keyboard Remapping to their Controllers and if i return it and then do add it in the future, i will be buying the controller again. Might as well get a new one instead of it collect dust!

Bro, just return it if you still can. Get the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro. It’s a much better controller for a fraction of the cost.

Bump as well, looking for an update. Been months since the original claim from support, but I haven’t found any updates on if you can remap controller buttons to keyboard strokes.

Seems like an oversight to be honest. Even with tools like DS4Windows for playstation controllers, you can remap to keyboard strokes, etc. I would say that a good chunk of the time, people don’t want extra access to the same controller inputs, they want extra access to extra hotkeys. e.g. mapping the controller rear buttons to different keyboard inputs, and then setting hotkeys in-game to those keyboard inputs / rear buttons.

This is absolutely r****ed, why even have the paddles if u can't do this. Without the paddles there's no improvement over the last generation. How could they release an unfinished product like this AND STILL CLAIM ITS "REMAPPABLE" 

false advertising like that, terrible support, over priced. I have like 700$ in razer accessories currently BUT I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

Razer clearly dont care in the slightest.  their chat support feels like a stupid bot.  Returning this controller tomorrow.  Why the f would you have 6 additional buttons that can only be mapped to the original buttons!!! I need button combos to make it worth it.

Great news guys! The latest firmware just dropped for the v3 and now it connects to synapse and allows you to assign keyboard keys to buttons!!  Glad I held off my return

Yup, just tried it, works great so far. Glad I dont have to use that Razer controller setup app now

Synapse support Controller and key mapping

Great news!  However, still need to be able to remap the face buttons as well.  Since I primarily use the back buttons, I enjoy having the face buttons mapped there, and then any less used functions mapped to the actual face buttons.

for Razer V3 tournament edition?

Hopefully soon, I just bought the V3 Tournament Edition today but found out only the Pro has synapse support at the moment

Yea they need to add support on Synapse for the Tournament Edition asap.
