Chroma Studio Issues on Razer Blade 15: Can't Customize Individual Keys—Need Help!

Hi Razer Community,

I'm having trouble customizing the keyboard lighting on my Razer Blade 15 Base Model using Chroma Studio in Synapse. I want individual keys to light up only -  not the whole keyboard.
I’d appreciate some guidance to resolve this issue.

Here’s what’s happening:

  1. Issue: When I try to click on individual keys in Chroma Studio, the entire keyboard lights up instead of just the selected key.
  2. Steps I’ve Taken:
    • Enabled Advanced Effects in Synapse.
    • Created a new layer in Chroma Studio.
    • Tried to deselect global effects, but I can't seem to delete or modify them within the layer.
    • Reinstalled Synapse and made sure Chroma Connect is installed.
  3. Error Message: When I logged into Guest Mode, I received the error:
"No compatible devices detected. Please connect a Razer Chroma device or enable Chroma Connect in 3rd party device software."

What I’ve already tried:

  • Restarting my laptop and Synapse.
  • Updating Windows, Synapse, and device drivers.
  • Reinstalling Synapse completely.
  • Confirming my Razer Blade supports Chroma functionality.

Despite all this, I still can't customize individual keys or fix the Guest Mode issue. My keyboard lighting works in default modes, but I can’t set up custom effects for games.

Specs:

  • Laptop: Razer Blade 15 Base Model
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Synapse Version 4

Has anyone encountered this issue before or knows how to resolve it? Your help would mean a lot!

Thanks in advance for your support!
