Huntsman Elite onboard colorprofile

You're not doing anything wrong. Without Synapse running, the keyboard can only colorcycle. When Windows is locked, Synapse cannot communicate, so it can only colorcycle. All the marketing about having 5 on-board profiles is very misleading. Unfortunately, having a color cycling keyboard when my PC is locked is not acceptable, so I'm having to send my keyboard back. This is a flagship keyboard. I'm not expecting full facilities without Synapse, but I would expect a £170+ keyboard to be able to remember a static color and brightness level.

The onboard storage on your keyboard only saves macros and other performance-related customization. It will still rely on Synapse 3 to control the lighting effects which is why it goes back to the default effect when plugged into another machine.

The device profile being described is saved on your PC and on the cloud by Synapse. It would've been a different conversation if it specifically said: "save on On-Board memory/profile".

So no difference between "quick" and "advanced" really ! Is it a hardware or firmware limitation ? In other words how do I reach out to you so that this issue is resolved, especially when you do not even have a Synapse for Mac ? I like the build quality of your product, but is quite frankly disappointed about this flaw ! Is it true, that your product also will enter colorcycle, when windows locks ?

As far as I know, this is a design choice, but you should definitely send a feature request via the Beta Feedback function in Synapse 3.0.
