Razer Blade Advenced few questions

BlackFireDragon
My old nootebook is in bad shape so it's time to change it for something new that i will use at home and on the go. When i look i find Razer Blade Advenced wit intel 8750 and 2080 maxQ and it's nice but this give me few other questions becose it's have only 16GB for now it will be enogh in future i dont quite now. So my qestions are: -Can i change the HDD myself and dont lose warranty or i must stick with this 512GB ? -It's possible to expand in future RAM when my warranty expire ? -Can i repate my cpu and gpu without issue and dont lose warranty ? thermal paste after few months on heavy load can change into stone and nootebook lose some performance. -On external monitor i use in my home i have g-sync so on Displayport will work or not from store and other info there is nothing is gpu on this nootebook is g-gync or non-gsync version.

2080mq doesn’t have hdd, you can upgrade your self the ssd up to 2Tb, pretty easy to access and you won’t lose the guarantee as long you don’t break other parts while doing it. And yeah ram can you upgrade up to 64gb dual channel (32x2) as well. About repasting if you use similar compounds like artic or kryonaut it’s safe not sure about LM, maybe LM May avoid warranty if I look other manufacturer, but I know some users who LM it and still get Guarantee services, yes I’m looking at you @...:big_grin_: Yes you can use your g sync through Blade DP, can confirm that, I use predator 1440p 165Hz. Though since Blade 15 is optimus Laptop that doesn’t have gsync capability on its internal monitor since it is controlled by Intel HD from cpu.

Thanks for quick replay. It looks like everything i need is supported and i dont have issue with things like keeping nootebook clean. For hadd yeah i know it use m.2 pci-e :P. Can you tell how temp looks on long heavy load ? I will be using it on light video rendering and games like World of Warcraft so it will be on heavy load most time.

I don’t render videos only gaming and paperwork. I don’t play Wow as well but last time on request I tried run it i think on 4K with my 2018 Blade advanced 1070maxq. Is this the game? Not long session though like around half hour.
