Laptop sees Core x but not GPU

I have a Razer Blade Stealth 7th gen laptop and I've been using the Razer Core X with a MSI GAMING X GeForce GTX 1060 6GB about 5 months without any issue but last week sometime I noticed the laptop said plugged in but not charging. So I unplugged and plugged it back in. And got the message that the thunderbolt port connectivity is limited and that there was an error. I look in device manager and the Core X is shown but my GPU is no longer there. All my drivers are up to date for the laptop and GPU and the GPU works in my other computer. I will take screen shots when I get home from work. Any help is appreciated.

Hello. I sent you a PM so I can help you out with this.

I'm having the exact same issue with an Intel NUC PC. Core X shows up in the Thunderbolt device list, but the GPU is not detected in device manager and never appears to power on. Any help would be appreciated.
