Why are Shift characters not lit up? v2

I am new here, and a Google search brought up the previous thread, so if this was answered already my appologies.

I too wanted the shift characters on keys 1 through = to be lit up, and I found an easy way to do this. I could not post in the original thread, either it is too old or I am too new of a forum member.

I also have a WASD keyboard, and it came with black keycaps that can also illuminate if the keyboard has lights. I switched the numberics on above the letter keys and now the shioft characters also illuminate with the theme. WASD sells keycaps, either individually or in sets, and their prices are not unreasonable, so for less than $20 you can buy those caps (they even sell a cap puller) and you are all fixed up.

Just Google WASD keyboards and their site should come up.

Attached is a picture, and I intentionally left the original Razer keys on cap ` thru 3, so the new caps are from 4 on up, so people can see the difference.

I heard in the past that the stock Razer keycaps never had the secondary functions lit up because the light would hardly be noticeable, but I am not entirely sure. The keyboards with low - mid level height keycaps tend to have secondary functions lit up too (such as the ornata and cynosa).

In my picture, you can see caps #1 thru #3 are the Razer caps, and the #4 and up are the WASD caps. You can clearly and easily see the shift characters, so I am confused why this was never done in future releases of the BlackWidow? Does not matter, I am askeding WASD to make a set specifically called BlackWidow upgrade, and it will be all the keys with shift characters, going to be around $30 because there is also a need for a few other keys such as ?, >, < , etc.

I spent $20 and order the caps from WASD, see attached.

NOTE: I have since switched all the caps and I am using the Steel series GloCaps, but if I go back to the OEM BlackWidow caps I now can light up all the shift characters too.
