Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 mic problems

Hey Reydan, I received mine yesterday and I have the exact same problem and my friends are complaining for the very same reason. In discord if I deselect the active mic noise cancellation I sound like a robot. I've tried messing around with the settings to fix the problem but I haven't been successful. Can anyone help us out? i feel you i got pewdiepies and it wont even show up in connected devices but my old mic worked.

I seem to have fixed the issue with the Mic quality being bad. If you go to your Mic settings in Windows you can change the sample frequency, somehow it's standard on Phone quality which obviously isn't good, change it to CD settings to improve the quality.

Also in Discord turn off all the Mic settings off like Noise things and such.

Let me know if it worked out! I've also reinstalled Razer Synapse with all the drivers and I can turn off "Active Mic noise cancellation" without sounding like a robot. Somehow first time installing it seemed to bring in some faults with it.

This literally worked, why does it install with telephone quality? Also razer synapse doesn't detect the freaking headphones.

You sound like a robot becose the quality of the microphone is set as default to low quality to fix this just change the quality in windows sound record devices to "dvd" and you will sound good. For second issue with toggle it's a profile or synapse issue try first to create new profile with default settings and do not enable anything then microphone and try if this dont help try to reinstall synapse with this remove all softwere from razer delete files in appdata and programfiles then reboot pc and download new installer from razer website install it and cheack if something change.
