Diablo 3: The Darkening (of my keyboard)

Hey everyone, So I've got a Deathstalker Chroma KB and I love it. However the light effects for Diablo 3 will not work. I've reinstalled synapse as well as the SDK and that hasn't worked. My profiles run fine with no issues and synapse recognizes the game as it shows up in the apps list, no it isn't listed as disabled. When the game starts the keyboard just goes dark with no colour whatsoever. Once I exit out of the game my profile comes back on. I'm at loss here. I've uninstalled all that might conflict with it including anything logitech for my mouse. I've made sure all my drivers including BIOS is updated. Does anyone know of anything random I may of missed? Thanks. Lev.
