At this point I have done everything I can do, clean re-install, re-installing drivers for razer mice and keyboards , trying on a different Windows user account, and I still get this issue. Synapse 3 has worked fine until recently. I have found out Razer Synapse Service cannot be started. Also, it says updates available even current version is up to date (3.6.0130.011816) I have DeathAdder Elite, Huntsman Elite, Viper Ultimate and Firefly V2 connected to my PC through a USB hub. Please fix this... THIS ISSUE IS SOLVED Problem:
Razer Synapse failed to start. Missing dependency for Razer Synapse Service. No Razer Gaming Manager on the service list.
Solution:
Add Razer Gaming Manager service w/ PowerShell commands. New-Service -Name "Razer Game Manager Service" -BinaryPathName "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer\\Razer Services\\GMS\\GameManagerService.exe" Razer synapse 3 "Failed to start" Start the both services and set the startup type to Automatic.
Check if Razer Synapse Service dependencies are not turned off (Windows key + R -> type services.msc, then check if Razer Central Service and Razer Game Manager is running - if not - just find it on the list and try to manually start it). If it will not help - go to windows Event Viewer - it should give a nice details about your problem. You can also try to run CMD (as an admin!), then type sfc /scannow - it'll check if there are corrupted system files, and if so - it'll repair it.

Razer Central Service is up and running but there is no Razer Game Manager service to be found. And I got this error message on Windows Event Viewer. The Razer Synapse Service service depends on the following service: Razer Game Manager Service. This service might not be installed. I've already done sfc and dism on CMD. Seems like Synapse failed to start because Razer Game Manager service did not install?

Software troubleshooting
 • Uninstall all RAZER related apps for now from the programs and features
 • If you have Windows 10, update your windows
 • Make sure you have .net framework 4.8
 • Create a new administrator account
 • Install Synapse with the exe file under the new administrator account

This issue is solved. After I found out the reason preventing Razer Synapse from starting (Razer Game Manager service does not exist), simply added RGM via a Powershell command according to this post. Razer synapse 3 "Failed to start" Started both Razer Gaming Manager service and Razer Synapse service, and it works just fine.

Yes, it might fail, becase dependent service is not present in system. You can try uninstall Synapse software completely - using this tool for eg.: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d Just run it, click that you have problem with software uninstalling, select Synapse software and go. There might be also other Razer applications on the list, but you must run the uninstall app again and select it... and so on. I'd also recommend to use CCleaner to cleanup OS (and also registry), to be 100% sure, that Synapse was properly uninstalled, and there are no leftovers.

Thanks, anyways. Never have thought Windows Event Viewer, that alone pretty much helped pinning down the exact problem I'm having.

Woah! That thread nailed it. And yes, this service needs to be activated or set as automatic for the Razer Synapse 3.0 to run. Thanks for FiszPL and Sye_The-Vie's suggestions too. Anyhow, I'll be locking the thread as resolved. Feel free to visit our self-help options or send me a PM should you have other questions or concerns.
