razer ornata spacebar sits too low

i have a razer ornata keyboard that i removed the spacebar to dry up a spill, when putting the spacebar back in it sits way below the height of the other keys, as in a light push is enough to register a keystroke and the 'click' sound is missing. can anyone help me fix this?
