стоит ли покупать?

I'm inclined to say not right now. It's locked up on me several times so far while testing. If that happened during a live stream...

Is Razer going towards another branch? Hope not.

It doesn't recognize USB microphone input. If you have any USB mic, they've ever made, like the Seiren Pro, Mini, X, or headset like the Nari Wireless, Krakens, etc... The board is apparently incapable of seeing them. For "Mic Input" it ONLY sees audio for the XLR or 3.5mm ports in the mixer itself.

Support/their manual says to take a "USB-powered" microphone, plug the USB into the PC for power... Then run a 3.5mm audio lead from the mic too the front mic port in the mixer.

Let that image sink in for a minute.

I've been waiting on a response on this for three days from them with pure radio silence as their response. It's either a stunningly ridiculous oversight, a moronic design choice, or there IS a way to do it that no one seems to have figured out in support or in The recent device reviews the last week.

The mixer can see other PC audio sources like game audio, chat audio, music apps... Why on earth can it not see a USB mic the same way?

Let the buyer beware. This is a ball drop on Razer's part.

For reference:

I forwarded it to the team, seems like a huge oversight.

i'm surprised this is simply called "Audio Mixer", and not some cool reptile name like the other products?

Update: So, Razer Tier 2 came back with this response.

*With regards to your concern that the Mixer is not picking up the Mic signal coming from the PC and only picks up when directly connected to the mixer, This is a technical limitation. If the USB microphone does not have a 3.5mm audio out, then the audio cannot be processed through the mixer as the mixer only takes in the following analog connections.*

*Analog Connections*
*Microphone in from one of the following sources:*
*XLR Balanced Jack*
*6.35 mm TRS unbalanced Jack*
*3.5 mm TS unbalanced Jack*
*3.5 mm TRS Line In*
*3.5 TRS Line Out*
*3.5 mm TRS Headphone Out*
*The workaround that you have used is correct. You will need to use the 3.5mm analog out from the microphone and connect it to the Mixer's line in.*

*With regards to interference, the issue the Razer Audio Mixer does provide ground loop isolators to address the interference. It's recommended that you connect the ground loop isolator into the Line Out port of the Razer Audio Mixer before connecting an aux cable.*

I called them out on it for being able to sort and isolate every other audio channel on the PC, but not being able to hook onto the Mic audio. No answer thus far.

This is how the GoXLR Mini operates as well, apparently. Looks like they copied it a little too well.
i'm still floored that they built a device that explicitly cannot be used with their own microphones. maybe i'm missing something. my siren x has a headphone out jack but the only way to use that as the analog out would be to turn on the hear yourself function but wouldn't that just cause a feedback loop? none of this makes since to me, either razer decided to explicitly copy the goxlr mini without any desire to incorporate their own mics or i just don't "get" what they're doing

I need for my task.

Ok, this should be good for dj stuff and sound experts i'd say.

But I can't buy that wonderful audio mixer. That's how the reality is harsh.
Looking good !

Gonna have a closer look at that, looks solid.

I think it is a case of wanting to offer a more gamery mini goxlr, I don't think this was a good idea, especially if their own mics are not compatible
One other annoying feature of the Mixer: When your system idles/locks due to inactivity (NOT sleep/hibernate, just auto-lock), and you log back in, the audio from all channels are scratchy/distorted. Fixed by restarting the Windows Audio service, but still, why?...

This seems very inconvenient, especially for people who have the computer up and running all day
I have just started making music and this product is a absolute no joke game changer. If any of you are on the fence about buying this thing, take it from me. Decently fork over the cash.
I'm ready to send mine back because of actual sound artifacts that creep in with browser sourced audio (YouTube, twitch, etc). Same with Discord and the game I play. The mic via XLR remains clear however.

It's frustrating to have to restart your PC in mid cast. It's the only way to cleanly fix the issue (restarting Windows Audio works but causes the mixer to be unresponsive).

Ignoring the inability to process usb sourced mic audio (which I've been accepted too give this a real try), the instability is damning.

That is unfortunate to hear, hopefully they fix it soon for other users

In a dual-PC streaming setup, I want to use my desktop as the gaming PC and my Razer Blade 14 as a dedicated streaming PC, but the Blade only has a 3.5mm combo jack. Can the mixer line-out go into the Blade's combo jack and stream full stereo audio?

It's for recording and monitoring incoming audio, especially for streamers
The mixer can take an kraken v3 hypersense, or we need to use the 3.5 output for listening the mixed sound?

(I want mix with him, but always have my headphone for gaming with full function at the same time and don't listen my voice)
