I recently installed Win 10 pro 64bit on a build with ASUS B-450 prime plus motherboard that has the realtek audio driver, after installing the drivers for my kraken pro v2 7.1 headphones, the system went into tilt. During windows reboot the system is crashed. There is a loud buzzing sound in my headphones from time to time, and my ears are distorted. I believe it is a driver conflict problem. How can I solve?
PS: sorry for my bad english but this is a google translation.

I'm assuming, that you have Win 10 1809? In 1809 Microsoft introduced new driver type "Universal Windows driver", and there can be a problem (but you can still use the "older" drivers).
Did you downloaded the newest drivers from Asus website? If yes, you can try using these drivers for your audio: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/realtek-hd-audio-2-79-driver-download.html

Thanks for your reaply. How i can check if this version of windows is or not 1809? I have downloaded the last version from microsoft website and create a bootable usb key. Anyway i try you solution and I'll let you know the results.
If dl'ed from MS site with Media Creation tool - it should be 1809. But you can check it via running start menu -> settings (gear icon) -> System -> About - windows version will be at the bottom of this window.
You can cheak it in windows settings panel. Click on start then on left upper site click menu and click on settings you will get system settings panel then click on system tab and info there you find everything you need. For the issue you try to change the driver to realtek (download and install it) from their website ?
Yes I have already tried to download the drivers from the site. But the problem remains. When I start windows I hear a loud noise in my headphones that disappears soon after. Then everything works regularly.
I assume you try to download from manufacture website and realtek ? If yes can you cheack if the issue is also on difrent headset this help alot where to look.
I think the problem is with the drivers because the annoying noise happens only after the start of the operating system and then disappears. I will wait for a driver update. I also remember that my headphones are with USB 3.0 connection and not with jack
Hi @awar85. For now, please uninstall your Realtek drivers and run Windows Update. Make sure you have the latest patch install and send me a PM so I can help you further isolate the issue. Moving this to the Support boards for visibility.

Windows Update should download new drivers for you so you should still be able to use the mic. Anyways, keep me posted!
