Cant wait to get these put an order in 6 days ago hopefully they last a good while, my steel series arctics 3 lasted 4 months before they broke pretty dissapointed in that headset

Im pretty much done with Razer gaming headset..

Since they wont do any update for synapse 3.0 for Mac im just gonna buy a Blue Microphone combined with Sennheiser HD 400s or any other Headphone and you will have a better quality mic and sound system than any Razer gaming headset.

I'm not sure any Synapse could detect the device plugged with a jack..

I'm certain Synapse 3 won't, S2 on the other hand can emulate Surround so I think that one can (even if it only controls audio)

Are those oval or round? The round ones start to bug you if you have big ears.


These are oval headphones. The elephant's ears will also fit. I have a version of big ears, and with my TE version there is still a lot of space for my ears, so I do not feel that it is on my head 🙂

Few questions.. I'm looking for gaming headset for ps4.
Will they work in 7.1 on ps4?
Do they have any help for glasswearers?

The Kraken only has 7.1 Virtual Surround sound on Windows 10 64-bit, so it would not be in 7.1 on a console like a ps4, however it will work just as a headset using the 3.5mm audio jack.
The cooling gel cushions have hidden indented areas so your glasses are not digging into the side of your head.
I use my Kraken TE's that have the same ear cushions as those regular Krakens and I find them pretty much the same comfort wise with or without glasses.
