Meet the new Razer Tiamat V2 Headsets

The world’s first true surround gaming headset returns, better than ever, and of course with that new sexy Razer Chroma lighting.

The new Razer Tiamat 7.1 V2 analog gaming headset sports 5 discrete drivers on each ear cup to deliver a robust true surround sound experience with unparalleled precision. Technically sound (heh), the sorcery is enhanced through its accompanying Audio Control Unit that lets you fine-tune audio settings for each driver. Master the battlefield by defining the soundstage, take victory through sheer audio advantage.

PC enthusiasts rejoice — there’s no need to choose between a Razer Leviathan speaker setup or a headset configuration. The Audio Control Unit doubles up as an audio pass through to allow quick switching between headset and your external speakers.

Hardcore gaming audio, accompanied with matching ergonomics - we’ve redesigned the headband to double up on comfort and fully accommodate your most intense and lengthy battles.

Available alongside the true 7.1 headset is the new Razer Tiamat 2.2 V2. That’s a lot of 2s. 2 discrete subwoofers, 2 custom-tuned audio drivers. Take that bass response up a couple of notches and hear your games rumble to life. Punch up your audio experience anywhere, whether you’re on PC, consoles or mobile.

Epic Sound, Epic Bass.

This is very nice! I bought the man o war wireless a few weeks back. Darn it! I'll have to wait till black friday or end of the year to see if I can justify it along with the other Razer gear I have in mind!

Loving the chroma! Dayum!

Not loving the price, $200.00! Dayum!

Agreed there. I'll have to wait for that special day price as mentioned above 🙂
Got my shipping confirmation, should be here by Friday. I have the ManOWar and the Kraken 7.1 V2. I will be able to provide my thoughts on the 3.
Pros:
Chroma
Light inside of ear cups
New Audio Controller
Flip Mic and not push in
did I mention its Chroma

Cons:
Cables not modular, the issue with the old Tiamat 7.1 was the cable would twist upon itself cause a short over time.
Same size drivers, I would have like to seen 40mm Fronts and 30mm rears
Ear cups are made from leatherette, I would have like to have seen a set of cloth also added for when to leatherette falls apart.
I can not buy it yet / out of stock
Razer Tiamat 7.1 V2 are now in stock.

For those of you complaining it comes with no free item you can use Promo Code "EPIC17US" "might be US only idk" on order over $179 for a free Razer Messenger Bag, I would have liked a free Razer Headset Stand but hey it's something free right. I just hope they do not offer a nice Promo Code for it soon as in August Promo Code that offers the Headset Stand or some other nice item.
My Tiamat 7.1 v1 lost its ear cup cushioning.
And now this Tiamat is released.
Coincidence?
Edit: Does anybody know the European Release Date?

It looks very nice, but I'm waiting for my Kraken 7.1 V2 😍🆒
Always loved my Tiamat's but i've swapped to the Man'O'War now..
One pressing and important question here!

I see there is a nintendo switch in the picture, are you able to split the mic and headphones send and receive to talk through voice on the switches setup (phone)

I owned one. But there is a problem. Entry level laptops such as Lenovo Y520 can't support Razer Tiamat 7.1 V2. So in order to use it I bought an external sound card. But it became bulky and not mobile. I hope Razer optimize Razer Synapse to support entry level laptop sound card if possible or give more details on the support of their peripherals on the box and on the websites they sell their peripherals.

It's impossible to drive an analog 7.1 headset with a sound card if it doesn't have the necessary outputs.
Hey, March 2019 and STILL no support for the Tiamat V2 in Synapse 3... What the hell?
I NEED THIS!
I have the Tiamat 7.1, and will be purchasing this as soon as I have the chance!

I actually like the mic that folds into the headset. Means it doesn't get in your field of vision when you're not using it like some other headsets.
Looks nice! But I won't have a conclusion until I tested myself.
OMG!!!!! :)
Will I buy one when I arrive in Brazil?
Finally a replacement for my old Tiamat 7.1 (Microphone is starting to sag (won't stay in position) and had to replace the ear cushions already once)
Just when I was about to buy the Kraken Chroma V2 ... My wallet is confused xD
