IPhone App needs to support firmware updates.
On almost device I own that has an associated iPhone app, the App itself checks for firmware updates for the connected device and updates as appropriate. It’s absurd to require us to have a Windows PC to perform firmware updates on a device that I am going to use exclusively on a PS4 console.
