So I picked up a Razer black widow elite love the feel of it and audio and usb on side. But after a while using makes for late night gaming a but loud. I dont really know much at all about these switch types I did order some rubber rings to see if that helps enough. But the clicking the are the green switchs tactical I believe. Now I wanted to know can I buy some of the switchs the are more silent not click sound and replace them ? Or even the stem swap? I have seen that the stem is what has different shape that makes clicks or no clicks> Is that a thing I can do?

Any info would be great. Also do they need to be razer switchs also clueless to if all switchs connect to board same or differently by brand style.

Sell it and get the yellow switch version. Or orange. You won't be able to change the switches, if you can i don't think it'd be worth the hassle.:confused_:

As @ARMOR_152 said - sell your KB and buy with yellow switches (lineal, silent) or orange (tactile, silent). Rubber rings will only dampen sound a bit (the sound that keycap make - if you push it to the bottom, not the mechanical key sound).

It is possible to change mechanical keys, but you have to disassemble whole keyboard and unsolder the old mechanical keys, and solder a new ones.

Or maybe it's possible to solder swap sockets like this: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a312a.7700824.w4004-2022834851.23.3e1f51ffkCugyA&id=44075927466, so you just interchange your mechanical key without any problem. But I don't know it would fit to BlackWidow Elite PCB.
Just ordered the same keyboard but yellow switch off amazon didnt know they had them in yellow. I thought was purple green and the membrane that pretends to be like mechanical. I just really like this keyboard Volume nob button layout rgb the weight of the keyboard doesnt't move around also usb and headphone jack. So thanks for info .
