So, this may not be the appropriate thing to do but my son is interested in these two gaming keyboards:
blackwidow v3 mechanical vs blackwidow v4 pro
I have no idea how to tell what is better. Can someone tell me what to look for because his top choice is of course the most expensive. He plays Call of Duty, CS Go and other similar games from what I understand.
He’s told me he’d be happy with either but I want to know how to find the best I can for his gaming experience.

Both keyboards are great, but with BlackWidow V4 Pro you have ability to choose Razer Orange switches (silent, tactile) which is not available in BlackWidow V3 series. These switches are also nice for gaming if you don’t like green switches (clicky, tactile) - and these can be very loud while gaming.
BW V4 Pro also have more chroma, and a lot better wrist rest (more comfy one). Dedicated macro buttons, which are not available in V3, and a command dial which is a nice feature. The switches on V4 are also pre-lubed, and it include dampening foam inside, so it’ll sound better / quieter than V3.
