CPU Temperature | Razer Insider

Okay, I did some testing with my Extreme Tuning Utility program.

Here is what I have:

Razer Blade 15 inches

i7 9th generation

244 hz

16 GB

512 SSD

Nvida RTX 2070

During idle or general use, my cpu have went between 40-63 C

During gaming, it tend to be under 90c. once in a while it go to 94 c or 91 C.

Contact Razer Support and they claimed there is nothing to worry about.

I want to make sure I got a laptop that can last me, at least, 4 years. I will spend most of my time doing productivity, but of course i will play some games once in a while, mostly with Overwatch and Starcraft 2.

I am not sure if this laptop is still worth it in a long run, or if I am better off getting a better laptop that tend to last a little longer.

Any advice or recommend is welcome.

Thank you in advanced.
That temperature seems fair as long as the machine does not auto shut down on you due to heat since my OMEN X laptop doesnt get to that point and its around the same temp range during games (I also play Overwatch on this laptop).

I would say that Razer Support didn't lie to you as long as it doesnt feel like its burning up in ur lap :cool_:
Gotta admit though that those temps shouldn't get as high as 60 if your laptop has decent cooling. Unless of course you're working in a place that is hot. Try checking that you're not covering the air flow holes of the laptop (whatever you call them).

Yes, I'm at home and the temperature tend to be around 74-78C. I has my laptop elevated and on a flat wooden, dust-free, table. Also, nothing is around my laptop and stay clear for my laptop to suck in and blow air.
So let's start with that that diffrent mobile cpu generation cpu have own cpu max temp 🙂 next thing is what kind of laptop you use in this case you use slim profile so air in chassy is limited. If you want to improve your temp you can buy cooling stand and replace thermal paste with something good like cryonout. Give you few digree less,
What settings you used for your intel xtu?
Is your graphics card also reading high temperatures? If not then it could be your CPU's thermal paste, or some software that is grabbing your CPU's processing power.

mine is just like urs bro. advance model v2 with 4k oled. while playing game, for example apex high setting my temperature will be average between 82-88C. one or two times 90 but thats it.

previously i had the 8750H one, and still temperature pretty similar.

i think its normal since Razer Blade is thin and powerful laptop. i have asked in some forums about other thing gaming laptop. and guess what? they have problem with cooling system too.

just try to undervolt and repaste bro.
