Razer vs Logitech

Razer:
If you like Chroma (RGB lights) and you are willing to pay for it.

Logitech:
You want value (bang for buck) and Chroma (RGB lights) is not important to you.

Razer has nice products, but a horrible driver-software (Synapse). Every competitor has way better software support, and also RGB lights. In so far, actually every other brand should be prefered. Only with keypad (Orbweaver yes, Tartarus no, bad quality), Razer has an unique selling point. If you want that, you are bound to Razer.
If they manage to produce a stable and widely bug free software, don't know when, they are trying for years, then a wonderful mouse like Naga Trinity, they will stay in game.

Prices are about the same so it's down to looks and features for me. Razer looks better and isn't the robot super gamer look like Logitech mice. The biggest thing though is Chroma enabled games, Razer has a ton (over a 100), Logitech has just a couple. Logitech has better software right now because of the Synapse 2/3 issues but that should eventually be fixed hopefully.

I also like all the community action from Razer and Min, funny stuff like the toaster, and freebies when you buy from them. Also the Razer Gold rewards program is pretty fun, and the high end premium packaging.

If you want clear answear to your question i can only tell you cheack devices that you like from razer and logitech go to local store and cheack them yourself you will see what devices is more for you for softwere just read logitech and razer forum and you will have info you need to decide what brand you chose.

I agree with all the dudes above that Razer really has weak Synapse software. I have a Razer Tiamat 7.1 V2 and I rarely use it now as my laptop need to install Synapse 2.0 to use it whereas all my other Razer peripherals uses Synapse 3.0. Installing both Synapse together will burden my laptop as the resource usage is quite high compared to Logitech which is much lower. Many users including me have been waiting for Synapse 3.0 to support all the Razer peripherals and it has almost been a year and no progress regarding that has been made.

I agree with Kenneth Yha. I have a Kraken 7.1 V2 and I would really like to be able to uninstall Synapse 2.0 and just 3.0 for all my Razer products but Razer hasn't done so yet. I really hope they hurry up and do that so Synapse 2.0 can be scraped and they can focus on Synapse 3.0 and just using that for their products instead.

Anyways sticking to the answer to @dailyBrightLilac230 's query, like @BlackFireDragon said its better you go to a shop and try both the brands and their products to do a real time side by side comparison to choose the best for you according to your liking/requirement.

Razer products according to me have the best quality in the market, as i have had used Logitech, Dell, HP and ASUS products to name a few.

And for me Razer has won the game for my requirements because of its hardware quality, customer support and longevity of the products. I love how detailed the peripherals are been constructed for the public. Razer products has a Class of its own, that Charm is not found with much of any other peripherals. :smile_:

Again, according to me Logitech sure does take the second place because of their product finesse.

Logitech. Their customer support is great, and their software for their products doesn't make me hate myself unlike Razer's software.

Hey there, even i agree to fact that Logitech products are really good and their customer support is great too. So is Razer's product and customer care, i have never had any issues with customer support till now.

To choose between the 2 brands here is fully up to one's own perspective and product experience.

I have never had good luck with Razers mice. Something always goes wrong. Whether it's a wireless model that would need reconnected randomly after a system reboot, or it breaking shortly after the warranty ran out. I've had three mice from razer over the years and not one of them is working.

Logitech I currently have the MX Master and G903. And they've been a dream for me. Never lost connection and they still work. The sensor in the G903 is awesome, but I'm not a huge fan of the size. The MX Master is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. But, for shooting games the Dpi is way to low. So a mix of the two would be perfect for me.

Honestly I never buy a none Logitech mouse again. But, that's just because my luck with Razer Mice has been...well lets not mince words. . .terrible.

Razer - never had serious problem with mouses (except original DeathAdder, which had microswitches replaced after 7 years of usage and Orochi problem with mouse cursor flickering on Bluetooth), they're perfectly built. The Synapse software is not great, not terrible (3.6/10 :D) - there still some bugs in the new software, and still no support for older Chroma devices - and it's ruining overall premium feeling of the product.

When it comes to keyboards I've never liked logitech kb's (no comfort, proprietary mechanical keys), but they're great when it comes to wireless (mouses and kb's) - always great connection and battery life (but Razer is getting better at this - for eg. Atheris <3). And for me - logitech is still having better support than Razer

one thing I guess people will agree- if you need a wireless mouse and don't want to keep plugging it to chatge or change batteries every now and then logitech has some good options, either with really long battery life or wireless charging from the mat. Razer, for now, only has mamba hyperflux, maybe something else will come later. Though, razer has the best rgb so far
