Why does Razer cripple the AMD chip when running on battery? | Razer Insider

So when I run a synthetic benchmark the difference in single-threaded performance is significant when running on a battery compared to when plugged in. Apple did not do that with Macbooks as far as I remember. Also, Blade 14 runs on the AMD chip which is much more efficient than the Intel chip, so why do they still do it?

Is there any way to reverse this behaviour?

Also, do they still do it in the newer 2022 Blade 14?
