Why Razer equipped Orochi v2 with the old mechanical switches?
Razer presented optical switches in mice in 2019 and since then all their models are equipped with those switches.
Razer claims that optical switch is better in every way - faster, more reliable, and lasts much longer.
Viper - has optical switches
Viper mini - optical switches
Viper ultimate - optical switches
Basilisk ultimate - optical switches
Basilisk v2 - optical switches
Deathadder v2 - optical switches
Deathadder v2 pro - optical switches
Naga pro - optical switches
Naga X - optical switches
Viper 8Khz- optical switches
but Orochi v2 - mechanical switches
Interesting. Why? Why this sudden change? Why they are reverting to previous, inferior technology if their RnD team invented something superior? Has Razer released any statement?
