BLADE 14 - USB-C to Display Port

I recently purchased a new Razer Blade 14 and new 34" ASUS TUF VG34VQLIB Monitor. I was able to successfully connect to the monitor using HDMI to HDMI. I wanted to connect to it using USB-C to Display Port. I understand the laptop's USB-C port is not Thunderbolt compatible, but I thought it should still allow me to connect to the monitor. Unfortunately, it will not recognize the monitor. I am using Amazon's USB-C to DisplayPort cable, which says it supports Thunderbolt. I was unable to find on Amazon, NewEgg or BestBuy a cable that supports USB-C (3.2) to DisplayPort. Please let me know if there is such a cable or if I need to change a setting either on the laptop or monitor. Thanks.

I’m using this dongle to connect 3070 blade 14 to 1440p g sync 27 external monitor. It should detect usb c as DP when using “right” dongle, maybe try another one other than that you tried before.
Edit: Amazon link apparently can’t be shown so look at attachment.
dont know if there was a solution to this but I am having the same problem. I am trying to connect to an LG 32gk850g monitor and it wont work. I have a 2021 razer 17 3080 360hz...only detects it as a usb 2.0 billboard. I tried 3 different cables all saying thunderbolt compatible. any help?

i7 11th gen. yes i tried both ports

Yes both are thunderbolt which’s connected to intel cpu basically, older model had only one thunderbolt and other usb c acts as DP connected directly to nvidia gpu. Did you also try on nvidia gpu only on synapse?
yes I did. after wasting hours of time and money buying cables and adapters since thats what they said this issue was...I decided to do my own research. you know what I found? it turns out that razer released a bios update on sept 20th for this exact issue. How is it that 3 calls to support and nobody even caught that? my thread he was locked by a razer support person to discuss this issue privately...never mentioned the update. seems razer "support" is pretty much a joke that they didnt even know about their own update to fix the issue. god forbid a have a hardware issue...this is probably getting returned...no faith. thank you joikansai for trying to help me with this...

hey mate, did you eventually find a solution to this problem? i have Blade 14, LG 27GP850 and cannot connect via USB-C to DP. am really superangry, razer support is doing nothing and polish shop where i bought the laptop is doing nothing either...
Yes listed this fix in the post above this. The laptop had a bios update that their customer service knew nothing about. Found it by looking online myself. Wasted so much time on the phone with them… horrible tech support
i tried using bios updater from here: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5502/~/razer-blade-14-%282021%29-bios-updater-%7C-rz09-0370
but it doesnt really seem to work: says that detected components are up to date. And my bios version is 1.06.
