Kraken V3 Hypersense Sound Issues (popping/crackling)

Hi, just wanted to report this issue to see if it can get resolved!

I see other people in Amazon reviews and Razer forums are having similar crackling and popping issues, (myself included) regarding the Kraken V3 Hypersense.

For me, it gets better by disabling all enhancements and when I set it to 44,100hz in Windows, but I haven't gotten it to go away completely yet, it's very annoying! It gets MUCH worse at 96,000 (max setting) for reference.

Here's one of the Razer forum posts for reference. From what I understand, and hopefully, it's a software or firmware issue but any insight into fixing this would be extremely helpful.

I've tried moving USB ports etc. as well, 2.0/3.0/3.1 etc., and will try disabling Synapse tonight. Let me know if you guys come up with a solution/update, etc., because these Cans are awesome/fun, but they're being hurt by the crackling and audio popping issues. Side note - Hope you guys update your Nari Wireless soon ;)

Cheers

I haven't yet! I've tried several different methods so far. It doesn't seem to be happening in game from what I can tell, but it is happening with music, I'll keep testing and report any improvements; I've only had them for 24 hours so far.

I got an email from Razer support today, and they asked about 6 reasonable questions but the others were a bit much for a commonly reported issue. Like needing warranty information, full address, place of purchase, dates, serial, model, a VIDEO recording of the issue, which I cannot do as it's very nuanced and has to be heard over the headphones. I'm happy to respond to the technical questions otherwise, maybe in forums to help other people figure it out together?

Respectfully, the headphones have to go back to the retail store if you can't offer a solution publicly for your customers, so there's no need for warranty info, etc. At this point, I just feel like products shouldn't launch with issues like this, and especially seemingly so common.

I reached out in hopes of being able to post a solution for others since it's a known issue in the reviews/feedback. Please, if you will, provide feedback in the forums so other people can figure out a solution without jumping through hoops, it would be beyond appreciated. I'm happy to respond to nuanced technical questions. I'll attempt to respond to the basic technical questions via email though. Cheers 💪
I had the same issue with the crackling/popping sounds, played around with the enhancements in synapse... did a lot of troubleshooting and looked at reviews on other sites, everything else worked on the headset perfectly fine and generally I was happy with the product apart from this issue but I contacted customer service through amazon prime as that's where I personally bought them from explained the issue as a damaged product and they sent me out a replacement set and the 2nd pair work perfectly fine without crackling/popping sounds. so for those that haven't found a troubleshooting solution, I wanted to write this just to help others because I think personally its just a faulty headset. The product itself is an amazing buy, took me a while to get use to the hyper sense but probably one of the best headsets I've owned.
