Hi,

I need a gaming controller for my Windows Laptop, I have an acer Predator Helios 700 in case that matters but I no longer own an Xbox as we have 3 computers a PS4 and 3 Nintendo Switches oh and like 3 or 4 tablets. Anyway, will the controller work with my laptop along with the Synapse 3/ Chroma RGB without the Xbox? And can you connect a gaming headset to the controller some people have said yes and others have said no.

Thank you,
Jen

Yes the wolverine te and ultimate are plug and play with Windows and xbox one. They do not require or use synapse only specific razer wolverine controller app downloadable off of play stores. The te does require app to remap paddles however the ultimate does not. Overall I own ultimate and if te is anything like it I highly recommend this controller.

The controllers have a standard headphone jack port so any headset that is wired will connect directly. Playing on a laptop/pc you can obviously use wired or wireless headphones without plugging to controller. The ultimate has a very nice volume control pad which makes plugging to controller worth the extra wire.
However, you need the Synapse for XBox software installed on your Windows 10 box and it has a "New Update Available" window on top of everything. You can click download and sit there like a psychopath and nothing will happen.
