Random beeping and disconnections with my new barracuda headset.

I have enjoyed the aesthetics and feel of the headset and coming from Razer's reputation I decided to buy the Barracuda X headset but since I have purchased it I've been having issues with my headset randomly disconnecting and beeping which has become quite an annoyance. It happens both on my computer and when using it with my phone. It's especially annoying with my phone since it just sits in my pocket I would get these beeps. The range also seems terrible compared to some Bluetooth headsets I have used. Is there any way to resolve this? I have tried updating everything and it's all up to date. I have noticed that while wearing them it seems to be maybe interrupted by other 2.4 devices like security cameras. The fact that it's not isolated to my PC is telling me it's the product and not a software issue. I'm starting to regret buying these headsets. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
