Razer Core Chroma keeps on tripping circuit

Hi all, I am new to this forum! :)

I bought a Razer X Chroma one year ago for my razer blade stealth, to plug a AMD RX 5700 XT.

I quickly noticed that while starting the egpu, it often made the circuit breaker to instantly trip. I blamed the old electricity installation of my appartment and purchased a UPS to protect the hardware, and testing different sockets minimzed the issue. However, not only did the egpu keep on tripping from time to time, I also noticed that it often sparked significantly around the power button when flipping the switch (which did not necessarily provoke a circuit break).

I recently moved to a new appartment with a complete new electricity installation (the whole building has been finished in 2019) and here, the problem is even worse.

Has anybody experienced anything similar? I have tried a lot of things (deplug anything else, try different sockets or circuits, even sending back the egpu for a new one at the beggining) but I keep on having the very same issues. I just want to game without fearing for my whole setup each time I switch it on
