Razer Cortex squad rewards not working properly

I have been doing the squad rewards for the past to day and has worked fine, today i restart and update my computer. Once it restarted when i run the cortex app and a game it doesn't record minutes. I'm playing Rainbow Six Siege on steam. I have since restarted again with nothing happening

it seems to be working now, i just start the games from cortex, i was starting it from steam and i believe that was the problem
