Razer synapse is broken

I was having trouble with razer synapse a little bit ago. Eventually all of my lighting effects suddenly vanished off all my gear. I tried to uninstall synapse and reinstall it. Except it will not reinstall anymore. I have tried everything that I have seen online and nothing has worked. It also seems like my problem is unique from everyone else. When I click on the installer to install the software, it opens for a split second and then nothing happens. I can see on task manager that it is opening, but then it just disappears.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat as you. Even reinstalled and rebooted.

The razer software should have one purpose to adjust the lighting of the hardware attached but for some reason the software just returns generic errors telling both support staff and the customer nothing.

At this rate im more than happy to replace my mouse & keyboard even my headset for a company that gives a toss about hardware & software. Such a shame too I even owned a razer phone gen 1 for a bit until the screen smashed(my fault but still).

Edit: Any recommendations. I liked the Roccat Nyth but that mouse lived its life. Logitech hardware looks nice but never had any RBG stuff from them.

Are you using a personal computer and connected to a home network? Make sure that your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking any Razer-related files or apps. If you have set VPN settings, please disable them. Also, run all available Windows updates and install the latest version of the Windows .NET Framework. Let me know if it helps.
I am borrowing your thread since it's about Synapse.
I am having issues with Synapse2 as well, the program is so instable. I have tried to reinstall the program and the whole computer twice, and tried out the mouse on a second computer with the same results.
Because I need to recalibrate my mouse EVERY time my PC goes to sleep / off / hibernate. Or else my cursor will be all over the place. I have tried to contact support for a while but there is just no way to get a hold of anyone.
Looks like I will have to look for a new mouse with better software than Synapse. Just feels like tossing money in the drain though.
(Note: I can not install Synapse3 because it results in tracking issues on my Naga Hex V2).
