So I have come to the conclusion "Razer Synapse" software maybe faulty or at least with my computer.

Yesterday, I finally received my Razer Kraken Ultimate in the mail.
I previously owned Razer Kraken Pro of 3 years.
The Left Ear suddenly died last week which prompted me to finally upgrade to the Ultimate.

To my horror, a brand new pair of Krakens is suffering the same issues I have experienced with the Pro's all these years later.

    Here is my current system:

    Operating System
        Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
        Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80GHz 51 °C
        Lynnfield 45nm Technology
        14.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 680MHz (11-11-11-29)
        EVGA EVGA P55 3X SLI E658 (CPU 1) 32 °C
        L37W698 ([email protected])
        4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (EVGA) 33 °C
465GB Western Digital WDC WD5001AALS-00L3B2 ATA Device (SATA) 39 °C
        465GB Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB ATA Device (SSD) 42 °C
    Optical Drives
        No optical disk drives detected
        THX Spatial - Synapse
I've tried all types of troubleshooting over the years including the following

Changed drivers, disabled drivers and all types of settings but this Cracking, Stutter, Crashing persist
One of the reasons I have come to this conclusion is while waiting for my new Ultimate to ship, I bought a Logitech G432. A mid range headset im sure many of you are familiar with.

There was no crackling, stuttering, crashing.

I play Arma 3 and other Pc Shooters. It was common for me to crash after 2 full games in Arma 3, stutter to the point of 5fps then crash and most annoyingly have to sit through crackling noise while listening for foot steps or driving vehicles.

With the G432's all of this went away. My game sessions lasted for hours and no other interruptions occurred which is why I believe all this hassle I dealt with for years is related to the Razer Synapse Software.

I recently came across a youtube video [] stating crackling and other sound issues is related to a driver problem. Upon trying this recommended fix. I still have the issue with the Ultimate.

At this point, i'm not sure what else I can do. I hope the information I have given hear can lead one of you to help me but as of right now, I am out of options.

I don't want to return the Ultimate's at all as I love the Razer design and brand but I fear I will have no choice to switch to another brand until Razer can address a fix for this issue Brand Wide.

100$ for a pair of headphones I can barley use is stinging me bad right now. Hopefully this forum can provide some help. Thanks.

I wanted to add an update to my current issue.

Here are two separate recordings I made within the last hour of this posting to try and showcase what I am hearing.
I am using OBS to record so i'm not sure all what it can pick up but it sounds like the static is not fully captured but the stuttering is definitely there.

When making this recording, the crackling, stuttering, static is deafening to the point where I can barley hear the people talking or ingame sounds. Sometimes it's minor

Hello! Recently on russian forum one guy had such kind of problem. And unfortunatelly he solved it only by reinstalling windows from 7th to 10th seriers. He has a Kraken TE and have absolutelly the same thing. I even linked him your video and he confirmed that problem is the same.
After that - problem is gone. Looks like with support stop (7th windows) - problems appear

Hello, thank you. I recently re-installed my Windows OS and will do some testing however I have read that this issue comes back on Win10 and Win7 after some time however all machines are different.

It seems people who have come across this issue concluded the problems arise from a Driver Issue with RealTek and Razer Software and I am inclined to agree as I was able reproduce this issue multiple times before the wipe.

Thank for this feedback. I will look more into it.

Ok, thats at least how he solved it. 3 days passed, everything seems to be ok for him. We will see later.
