Stealth v1 - SSD Upgrade

Hi all,

I have a stealth v1 and v1 core (w/ 1080 TI) and it's still works great. However the SSD is full (thanks mostly to Gears of War 4) and I was looking into upgrading the SSD to a larger capacity. Since the v1 stealth is out of warranty anyway I figure it's probably time to think of doing it.

I was looking into the Evo 970 2TB from Samsung:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-2TB-MZ-V7E2T0BW/dp/B07C8Y31G1/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

however I don't know if there is any limitations in the v1 stealth to SSD capacity? I couldn't find anything by searching google to find out if there were any compatibility restrictions.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

P.S. Sorry if this has also been asked before, my search here came up empty as well.
P.P.S - I can't delete Gears of War 4 because it was a gift from a close friend and I'm kind of stuck :P

Thanks!

I think it’ll be fine you can return it if it doesn’t work right, and Amazon is really cool about this from my experience. I use btw 970 Evo 512gb to replace 128gb on my 2016 v2, and I have also GOW installed on it, for that i don’t need my core...it’s original, the first GOW doesn’t need such space and gpu power😜
Thanks so much @BlackFireDragon and@Joikansai for your replies!
I know I'm being greedy with space. I bought my stealth with the 512 option... sigh. Games just take so much space and I'm really slow to play/complete them... and my backlog is enormous to say the least.

Best!
