It's Intel technology, and they won't certificate it on competetive platform like AMD.
But there are really few AM4+ mobos that has TB integrated.

Honestly would be a good addition to the battleship, but the RGB is what I'm looking forward to the most!

SO, will this charge a Razer 15 Studio Edition laptop via the USB passthrough, or I still need to plug into the 230W adaptor? That's kinda the point of a hub - one cable does it all. I want this, but I need power too!

    Answered my own question:
Can I use the Razer Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock Chroma to charge the Razer Blade?
The Dock can provide a 90w charging capability which is enough to charge the Razer Book and Razer Blade Stealth System. The dock will also be able to charge a Razer System which supports Power Delivery via the USB-C port. However, Razer Blade and Razer Blade Pro require more than 90w power input and using a lower-watt power adapter may affect the performance of your laptop. Additionally, your laptop may encounter charging issues while the system is running. To avoid any of these issues, we recommend using only the power adapter that comes with the laptop.

    Rather disappointing :-(

    PS I still want it!

    From Razer FAQ:
Can I connect a Razer Core X or other eGPU to the Razer Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock Chroma?
We do not recommend connecting the Razer Core X or other eGPU to the Razer Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock Chroma as this may cause latency issues with your input and output. For optimal gaming performance, connect both devices directly to your system.

I don't recall seeing this mentioned in the thread or FAQ (apologies if I missed it), but Thunderbolt 4 is only supported on Intel's Tiger Lake, 11th Generation platforms. And currently (again, AFAIK), none of the Razer Blade laptops use 11th Generation CPUs.

Is this a "buy it now, and use it later" product, or (for example) can I fan out my existing RB15 Advanced 2019 model's Thunderbolt 3 port to three additional Thunderbolt ports using the Razer Thunderbolt 4 Dock?
