I was wanting to swap to UHD as well, but my hardware can't quite do 4k. So I was curious, how does 1080p look on a 4k panel?

Thank you for your opinion, but there isn't, if there is, name one monitor that can go past 60fps

Monitors don't render anything so they aren't able to produce any frames per second, what you guys are talking about is refresh rate which is measured in Hz's and not fps

fps is output and hz is input

Currently using BenQ XL2540. It sucks, the signal switch just not working and the CS told me that "It is normal."

I had the same issue when I bought the screen, not enough power on computer. Then I had to invest double the screen price for gpu ;)

I have been wanting to upgrade my video card, but i am sure you know all about that. Now that prices are coming down and the next line is about to be released, i might have a chance. Currently running 2x 780's and to really get an "upgrade" I would have to go with the 1080 at least. or the 1170 probably.

1080 at least? A 1060 would probably be an upgrade over 780 SLI.

I've read a bunch of forums and they say the 1070 is like 10% better than the 780sli. So to get a significant upgrade (worth the $500+), I would have to go with 1080 or maybe 1070 ti.

    LG 32GK850G

31.5 inch non-curved 1440P VA panel with a native 144hz is overclock capable to 165hz. Love it for games like Overwatch and it pairs well with my 1080ti. The monitor has developed a dead pixel and what I guess is a piece of dust or a separation of the screen material (I really don't know) in the same area. Both are barely noticeable but I will RMA it if I can. If LG doesn't accept it than oh well I can live with it. IMO this monitor is one of the better options out right now until the 120hz 4K panels become readily available.

They'll be available in a month or so, but they will be priced at ~$2000.

I have Samsung SyncMaster 710N, I am not proud of it, but it does it's job. Resolution is 1280x1024 and the refreshing rate is 60Hz. Planning to buy a new one soon.

Just upgraded my Main-Monitor to a 32" AOC Q3279VWF. QHD (1440p) with 5ms MVA Panel 75Hz and FreeSync. Although it is pretty cheap (180€) I am totally into it.
