BlackWidow V4 Pro Left Shift not working

I picked up a BlackWidow V4 Pro Full Size about a month or two ago. About 2 weeks ago, my left shit key stopped working fully and now only works every 1 out of 4 presses or so and even when it does work, it will stop working about 50% of the time. Nothing has been spilt on it and I have removed the key to see if something was stuck under it but I didn't see anything. I also have an issue with certain keys activating twice with one click like my N and my S key, but that's not as much of an issue as the shift issue.

Does anyone know how to either fix it or am I going to have to sadly replace my keyboard as I use my left shift key all the time?

Experiencing the exact same thing with my left shift. Cleaned it several times but still only works about half the time it’s pressed

Same with my V4 Pro. Left Shift works “sometimes” which is a pain if you type in passwords without seeing it….

Any solution?

i just bought mine today 6/16/2024….. updated it, and no left shift… bran new……….. maybe the competition sells their product  as working?

I have the same problem with my newly purchased Blackwidow.  A few weeks now the left shift only works some of the time.  Very irritating.

in razer synapse go to the keyboard settings and change polling rate to 2000, fixed it for me :D

I’m Experiencing the same problem with the left ctrl, i have to press it a couple of times in order to work. also some other keys sometimes doubles.

I have the same issue here. Razer Blackwidow V4 Low-Pofile
Sometimes L-Ctrl is not working. Extremely annoying.

I updated the polling rate to the maximum (which is 1000 for my product). Let’s see if it helps.

I’d try to pour some 100% isopropyl alcohol inside the faulty key, press it few times and let it evaporate.
