i would like to see a budget mechanical gaming keyboard instead of a mechamembrane one. if possible the pricing should be around 50USD. rgb or chroma lighting is not needed if you intend to make this keyboard a reality. If you could include dedicated media keys that would be great. I hope you will consider it. I believe that this will be widely accepted by the community.

For this price you can't produce a mechanical keyboard that meets Razer's quality standards, there are plenty of chinese mechanical keyboards with ok build quality for this price tho, check Aliexpress!

I have this and for being a membrane keyboard, it's the best one I've ever owned. Good job Razer!
Individually backlit keys got me hooked!
Definitely upgrading from my Cynosa V1!

Individually backlit keys got me hooked!

I know, right! The individually backlit keys on the previous Cynosa was awesome! The reds were so strong (unlike Corsair K55, hehe) and the yellows weren't too pale. Anyway, If that was the previous Cynosa, imagine how good this one would be! :big_grin_:

Cheap LEDs always have pale yellows 😳😳
This'll be my next natural upgrade from the Cynosa Lite I use now.

Off topic, but to my understanding the rapid fire mechanic is already implemented due to the reduced travel distance of the two main triggers.

I'm thinking of possibly getting one later down the road

What's the difference between ORNATA V2 and this ?

Ornata has mecha membrane switches , this is sliders over rubber domes . Much quieter , but also kinda mushy . But I like them . (Typing this from a Cynosa V1. 😁 )

I'm not into membrane keyboards, but this sure looks sick!
Has the Cynosa V2 Onboard Memory?
Kenserky
It's always great to see a brand revisit it's products so they can stay competitive and up-to-date.

Would it be possible to get a discount when buying a V2 if we send back a V1 to be replaced ?
Yeah, I know, keep on dreaming baby.:big_grin_:

Pog tell me about it
Hi everyone.

Has the Cynosa V2 Onboard Memory?

As far as I figured out from different articles - this keyboard don't have onboard memory, but its not for sure.

Thinking to buy one maybe, but have some questions which I could not find the answers on..
1. How will the "awesome rgb" will behave when synapse software is not installed? Will it work? Which color will it be? Or it stays dark if there is no synapse soft installed? ))
2. Can Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest Pro be attached to this keyboard?

The usecase is that I have my home PC and corp laptop and want to use this keyboard on both devices. So I can install synapse on PC, but cannot on corporate laptop...
Just bought this keyboard 2 weeks ago and Echap, 2, F1 to F12 keys doesn't work anymore.
I'll check with the support but it's the first time in my life that I have a problem with a keyboard... :frown_:

I have uninstalled Synaspe due to Razer's high 6 gigabyte per month upload of private data. I now use Open RGB to economize my upload. Use Glasswire (free) to find out your upload data from Razer products!.

Looks like I will be getting the V2 soon, I have had the V1 for a couple years now, very reliable keyboard.
Would anyone on here reccomend this or the Blackwidow?
I actually have the Cynosa Lite and i'm very pleased with it so far. I only wish the lights in the keyboard would be more bright but still it gives a great effect to my office. In gaming performance i'm very happy, it's silent and i can play way into the night without bothering anyone. The pressure of the keys is exactly as i like it. It is my very first Razer product and all i can say is, keep up the great work on the quality of your products.
Anyone know what colour switches are used on the Cynosa V2? Are they yellow?

Which colour switches does it have? Are they yellow? The quiet ones?

It's a membrane keyboard, so it doesn't have any switch.
Those are for the mechanical ones.
