I bought the huntsman mini the day it launched, my one gripe for the price I'd love to have seen it be a Hot Swappable Board. Where Razer would sell the Different Opto-Switches and allow you to buy the switches separately and let's say do reds for the WASD for improved reaction time, and purples elsewhere.

Any way to have the Fn key light the front of the keycap, so we can see what alternate Fn mapping we want to use? I'm not a touch typist, and can't see the labels with the lights down in the room.

Will the switches on the Huntsman TE also be updated from Gen 1 to Gen 2 like the Huntsman Mini?

I've had the Huntsman TE for a couple weeks now, and while I love the overall design, I would say the one thing keeping it from perfection for me is just how damn loud the switches are. I've heard that on the Huntsman Mini with the Optical Linear Gen 2 switches they've addressed exactly that complaint with added softeners and lube, which sounds (no pun intended) amazing! Apparently 50% quieter on certain keys, which would seriously be ideal.

Does anyone know if the original Huntsman and Huntsman TE will be updated to the new Gen 2 switches? It would make my day if so.

That one of the biggest questions... and also if there will be a mini version for europe?

I caved and ordered the mini - with my luck the new TE will come out shortly after :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

Does this have a normal keyboard layout? or do i need specialized keycaps

Now, obviously the normal keys, i.e. "QWERTY" etc. would not specifically require any different keycaps. After all, they're universal. However, I am worried about the ENTER key, and the other keys in the bottom row next to space. For those, you may need some specialised keycaps.

It's actually funny how small it is. I slide mine under my monitor in between the stand's legs when not using it. I also really like the detachable cord. I swapped the standard cord out for a cool light blue Tez cord.

While I like this keyboard, I find it annoying that there no version with a UK layout :frown_:

I absolutely love customizing my new hunstman mini but I'm not liking that I cannot overwrite certain function keys, I feel so limited after trying to adjust. I really would like to remap FN + WASD to the arrow keys. This really slows down my work flow and gaming taunts because I have to use two hands to use arrow keys. I would much rather use one hand with capslock as the modifier. The clicky version I got is so nice to type on Ima keep it.

hi there, I just bought the huntsman mini and want to get the driver for it. which driver do I download for a Mac?

There aren't any mac os drivers as far as I know. The only keyboard that may be compatible with mac may be the protype

I'm no mac user but if i dont mistake the keybord works like a normal one but without additional features that provide synapse. Synapse is not avalible for mac right now so yeah keymapping, chroma lighting change etc. are not avalible.

I got one of these for my birthday and I don't think it's what people say, it is one of the best keyboards ever and trust me, I've tried a lot of them, defenetly a very good product
