Is my keyboard damaged?

I recently took off a few of the keys for my Ornata, and I saw somewhere that doing this was bad for your keys after doing so. Will my keyboard be most likely damaged after doing this?

    I was told that taking the keycaps off the ornata is not good, but as long as you be careful not to break anything you should be good. I wouldn't do it too much though, pretty sure you can break the little metal clip that makes the "clicking" noises quite easily.
