Any opinions on Razer mice? More specifically the Deathadder CHROMA.

I'm looking for a high quality but a simple gaming mouse with a low extra button count (2 extra buttons specifically). I've been eyeing on the Deathadder for a while now and it seems like a good pick for me, as it is high quality, light and simple (or so the reviewers have said). Even one of my favorite youtubers stated in one his videos that it's his favorite mouse. But I've heard critique from people on forums on Razer products, that they're not that durable, an speed test d now I'm sort of skeptical about buying the Deathadder.

What have you guys heard? Are Razer mice truly bad quality products? Should I just go for the Deathadder or something else? showbox

DeathAdder is the most universal and best selling mouse. I'd buy DA V2 instead of older Chroma version. There is also DeathAdder Mini (it's cheaper and slightly smaller).

For simple mouse you can go also with Razer Viper Mini, which is also great (and my daily driver), one of the best mouse for FPS games, and not so expensive.
I have a DAv2 I use at work, great mouse but I use the Basilisk v2 I have at home more now, I like the feel better. I don’t like extra buttons but the DPI clutch under your thumb on the Basilisk has become pretty important to me. I keep a Viper Mini in my laptop bag, I like it perfectly fine and it’s half the price if that’s a consideration for you. I have a Viper 8k as well but it’s a bit large for me and has an annoying cold boot issue, it’s basically on the scrap heap
