Razer Mamba 16000 Battery specs

Hi my Mamba battery died after about four years and I don't want to just use it wired nor do I plan to drop another few hundred bucks on a high end mouse after such a short time. I'm looking into replacing the battery but I can't find the exact specs anywhere. I've already disassembled the mouse but sadly the specs are also not printed on the battery.
Can anyone help out and knows what specifications the battery has so I can order a new one?

I strongly do not recommend you buying a new Mamba mouse due to the fact they have always had some sort of issues (double clicking, sensor issues, tracking, jittering and so on). I recommend getting the Orochi V2 or DeathAdder X HyperSpeed as these have great battery life AND the battery is self/user replaceable and best of all you can use either an Double A or Triple A Battery in them :)

The Orochi V2 and DeathAdder X HyperSpeed also feature and use the better 2nd Generation mechanical switches which are the Razer modified Kailh GM 4.0 switches rated for 60M clicks or better and have a great tactile feel and feedback on them

The older mice models such as the DeathAdder Elite use the Gen1 switches made by Omron which have been a bit notorious for developing double click issues early on, at least on the ones that have been tested in the past by various folks

Orochi V2 is on sale for $50 currently at most authorized retailers. DeathAdder X HyperSpeed will run you $60 or so depending on retailer.
I specifically said that I don't want to buy another Mamba, just a replacement battery with the same specs. I'm also not interested in veiled advertising for other razer products even though I believe it was in good faith.

Yeah but I'm fairly sure you cannot get a new battery for the mouse... probably cost ya more than a new mouse altogether IF it was even available to buy. Sometimes just not worth it to buy specific parts to replace in a long loved item, just gotta part ways with them and move on, plus right now is a good time of year to buy new stuff since there usually are sales on computer gear for the holiday seasons 🙂

PL383450 3.7V 800mAh - 2pin battery. There are a lot of replacements even bigger ones if you want, even with JST plug included.

The real question is will it cost him more to buy that replacement part than it would a whole new mouse unit altogether though? I don't think it would be worth it in my view/opinion tho due to that they got the Gen2 Mechanical Switches in use now on newer mice releases and they're less prone to issues 😉

No, it'll be still cheaper, even if you'll replace switches for something better like Kailh GM 4.0
If you want to be "green" - don't throw away old parts - just repair them, for the environment, for all of us.

I suppose but still would prefer the DeathAdder X HyperSpeed over the Mamba any given day 😉

Please just leave the thread if you're just here to push what you think is best without caring about the actual problem at all...also I specifically bought this mouse because I can adjust the actuation force of the clicks which is something that I need and I haven't seen on another mouse. Everyone has different needs so don't go and thing there is only one true answer out there for everyone. Think outside your own box.

You are a life saver! Thank you, I will get a new battery with the specs and update if it worked (since I haven't found anyone on the net talking about replacing the battery in this mouse for future reference of others)

@LiLmEgZ - watch your language please.
I think, that @Vanillagod clarified why new mouse is not an option for him.

I'm closing the case, no more rage 🙂
I'm posting with the resolution in case anyone else stumbles upon this thread with the same problem. I've actually managed to replace my battery with one that has the same specs. It was a bit bigger in length so I had to make a few modifications but in the end it fit and works flawlessly.

(My mouse did have different battery specs than posted earlier though. They were hidden beneath a padding which was glued on the battery. The specs I had were: 3.7V 6.66Wh 1800mAh )
