I am not sure @FiszPL I have never seen this symbol before I know the following symbol is what many non-genuine/counterfeiters use. An "alpha" symbol The legitimate one use the following symbol that looks like a "double way arrow" In today's time, it is difficult to compare the real vs fake just by looking at it or feeling the texture. The only way I figured out to compare real vs fake are the followings * Compare the dimensions of the mat, because the fake always get the dimensions wrong * When buying a new mat, legitimate one always come with RAZER green packaging. Unless if it is a second hand that it comes in a plain brown box. * Fake ones always have unfinished stitches. * You can't tell if you never bought a real RAZER mouse mat, but legitimate one sure feels and looks legitimate. Which is why Chroma mats are the best!! Fakers can make the products feel real, but hardware and software side of things to fool Synapse application? good luck to fakers~~~ @Cf47hjzy I have never tried this before, but try ironing the mat. hope the following link helps

There were 3 editions (from smallest to largest): goliatus alpha with α symbol, omega with Ω and "extended" version with the double arrows.

Also, never seen any mouse pads getting that messed up in just 3 months of usage. And has only seen that kind of a damage when its a fake product like @FiszPL and @Sye_The-Vie pointed out above.

The mat was purchased from our store.

the video shows a non-rubber mat. I tried to iron it with an iron, the rubber melts.

The video does not state how hot the iron should be. White cloth is used to help you with the rubbing motion and to transfer the heat. With rubber mouse mat, a gentle heat is required with regular rubbing motion so that you are in control of the heat and to weaken the rubber. Once the rubber is weakened, continue to rub until the mat is flattened. Once the mat cools down it should be safe to use. Hey! @Razer.Caziel Your opinion on flattening RAZER Goliathus?

@Sye_The-Vie There is no room for mistakes given OP's circumstances, so I would not recommend using an iron. It would take more time, but I would just let a heavy box have its way on the mat for a week or so.

He warmed up with an iron, through a thick blanket. My iron does not regulate temperature. Then he put it under the load. It seems to have leveled off. How long I don’t know.
